Each age group at VKS has a structured program and various activities are carried out at the child’s age level. At the age of 6 when the child completes pre-primary, it is expected that on average a child can:

• Rote count and write 1 – 100,
• carry out simple additions and subtraction,
• tell the time and relate to activities,
• have added vocabulary in their speech,
• be able to re-tell a story or event, write letters Aa – Zz and simple 3 or 4 lettered words and some sentences,
• Read stage 3 of the Oxford Reading Tree series.
• Develop good eye – hand co-ordination, sorting, matching, group various colors, shapes and objects etc.
